I am just happy that we won Argentina game. I lead our team in scoring but do not feel like I had a good game.  I missed shots that I normally make, but I made up for it at the free throw line.

We lose semi-finals in Athes and FIBA game in Japan. But this team is a little different now.  We did not fall apart when things went wrong.

This team has better defense than the 2006 World team.

Manu got hurt and I hope he is fine.  Scola was very good, and always play  well with this team.  We could not stop him last night.

We did not play our best last night.  We still won the game, so that is good.I think everyone will play there best on Sunday. ~~~~~~

The interview with SOHU was cool.  I like doing media in China.  This is a country that I would like to become more popular.

When I was here last summer to play in the Yao/Nash Charity Game, I did a lot of site seeing. So I have not done much this trip.  And, my favorites in Beijing are the Great Wall and Forbidden City, which are amazing.

After beating Spain we will finish #1 in Group B and will play Australia from Group A. It does not matter who we play.  I don’t have a favorite. I scored more in the Spain game than in the Greece one.  My 3pt shot was falling early in the game.

I want to say some to D-Wade. He has been great this tourney, it is good to see him healthy and playing like this. We will win it all.

去年暑假我来参加姚明纳什慈善赛的时候，去了很多地方，所以这次来北京没有到处玩。在北京，我最喜欢的地方是长城和故宫了，这两个地方太令人惊讶了。

 I got a chance to talk with Michael Phelps several nights ago at the Olympic Village.He is, of course, from my hometown of Baltimore. I met him before just growing up, but I hadn’t met him since he won those six gold medals in 2004. So his whole life has changed. He’s not from the same neighborhood as me, but we’ll claim him.

This is my first time to really get a chance to mingle and interact with him. We talked about spots back home, but we were talking about getting out to each other’s events. He’s going to bring some golds back to Baltimore and I’m going to bring a gold back. They can have our parade together in
Baltimore.

I’m amazed at what he can do in that water. He’s like a shark. I’ve never seen anyone swim like that before. Swimming never caught my eyes before I saw him. I’m going to try and see track and boxing and swimming. Those are the main three.

We got bum rushed going into the village. In Shanghai it was crazy out there, too, with the fans bombarding us. But it was fun, though. It was crazy when we walked into the village that night. I can’t even explain it. It felt weird, but it felt good at the same time because you had the best athletes in the world from other counties and they look up to me and Kobe and LeBron and DWade. They look up to us. That kind of felt weird.

We sat down and ate with some of the other countries. As we were eating,countries were coming up to us and we were interacting and mingling. We’ll be back there to do more, later. We embrace that. We walk around and show love to the fans out here and the other countries out here.

I did not play a lot and did not score very much when playing China , but I played the role that I needed to play for that game.  The win is the only thing that matters.  The team will need me to do more in other games on our quest for the gold.

You know it is a big game when you have the Presidents of countries at the game.  That does not happen very often.  I was not nervous.  I was very excited. To be a part of a game that big is special.I love the passion of the fans in China, they really support the athletes from their country.  A lot of people are saying that the USA team is more popular than Team China, I am not so sure about that. The energy in the arena was incredible!  Everyone has been talking about this game for months.  You could feel the energy in Beijing all week.

A lot of family and friends in the USA are following all the games.  They said that this game would be the most watched game in the history of basketball.  I wonder how many people watched the game.I would just like to say hello to my family and let them know I am enjoying my time in China.  I also miss my son Kiyan, and can not wait to see him when I get back.

This team has the world’s greatest players in all positions.  We have been playing together in the summer for the last 3 years. I believe we are ready to get started and make a strong run for the gold medal.

I was at the 2004 Athens Olympics and the Opening Ceremony was great, however the Olympic Opening Ceremony here in Beijing was amazing.  China really knows how to put on a show.  Other than winning a gold medal the opening ceremony will be the most remember able event.  The Li Ning part at the end was unbelievable; I never would have done that.

The people in Beijing treated us like rock stars when we came to town.  There was so many people there to support us it was incredible.  We never get greeted in the USA the way we get greeted here in China.

On Thursday it became official: I will be starting in the 2008 NBA All-Star Game. I want to thank everyone who voted for me to be an NBA All-Star. Although last year will always be special because it was the first All-Star game I played in, it has always been a dream of mine to be a starter. I believe in my heart that the people of China helped me realize this dream. So from me to everyone who supported my dream and voted for me: Xie Xie!

When I came to China this summer, it was one of the best experiences of my life. It was a busy summer, with Team USA needing to qualify for Beijing 2008. But when Nash and Yao invited me to play in their charity game, I couldn’t pass it up. I had a blast hanging out with the guys. Yao and Nash are an inspiration- they do so much charity work that I really respect them. I do a bunch of charity work myself back here in the States, but I always like seeing other guys commit time to people in need. And one other thing you should know: Baron Davis is one of the funniest people in the world. He had all of us laughing the whole time we were there. On the bus, in the locker room, at the hotel- he never stopped cracking jokes. And to play a charity game in front of a full house, and on Chinese TV, was something I’ll never forget.

One of my major thrills was visiting the Great Wall of China. 3 letters: WOW!! China is an incredible place and I can't wait to get back there next summer. I feel proud to represent not just America, but people across the world who support me. I appreciate the love. I know people in China love the Rockets, but hopefully some of you like the Nuggets too. With A.I., Kenyon, Camby and the rest of the crew running strong, we are a pretty solid team. There’s a lot of games left, so we will train, fight, lose and win, together. In the meaning of "The HOOD Movement" (we are holding our own destiny). Stay tuned.

Regarding my recent injury, I’m lucky that it is only minor. I’ll miss just one game. It’s happened before, so I’m not worried about it. My style of play has me moving all of the time, and sometimes players like me can land wrong or step on another player’s foot which can cause an ankle sprain. But don’t worry, I’ll be back very shortly.
